East Hill Foundation Supports Kurn Hattin Homes for Children

August 10, 2023

New England Kurn Hattin Homes for Children recently received a $19,500 grant from the East Hill Foundation. The grant will support renovations to the sugar house, green house, and barn, new and refurbished musical instruments, and clothing for the children in our care who have such needs.

We are thankful for the Foundation’s thoughtful and caring support to help Kurn Hattin maintain the overall quality and upkeep of our campus facilities. The direct support of the clothing needs for our children is wonderfully meaningful. We’ve been arranging online and shopping excursions with the children. It is part of teaching life skills and building self-esteem. The children are thrilled to have new clothes that they’ve picked out themselves. Our music program is also a very important program in similar ways, and new instruments are needed annually.

As the grants are by invitation only, Kurn Hattin Homes is deeply grateful for having been selected for the Foundations’ support of our Today for Tomorrow Project this year. Kurn Hattin Homes transforms the lives of children and their families forever.
