Kurn Hattin Adds New Staff Member to Administrative Team

Tom Oxholm, Director of Institutional Advancement, has recently joined the staff at Kurn Hattin Homes for Children. Before joining Kurn Hattin, Oxholm worked at the Keewaydin Foundation in Salisbury, Vermont, and Vermont Academy in Saxtons River. He also worked at schools in Maryland, Massachusetts, and Oregon.

Tom Oxholm has over thirty years of experience in education and fund raising and is working with executive director Steve Harrison and director of development Kim Fine and the development team to seek out new support for Kurn Hattin Homes. Harrison states, “Tom brings to Kurn Hattin a wonderful combination of a long-standing connection with, and appreciation of, Kurn Hattin’s mission of working with children and very solid development and advancement outreach experience. We are excited to have him helping us move into our next century of service to children!”

Tom serves on the Board of Directors at High 5 Adventure Learning Center in Brattleboro and has volunteered with Rotary International, The Lions Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Boy Scouts.

“Kurn Hattin is a special place which does wonderful, transformative work with children,” states Tom. “I am excited and honored to be part of this community and look forward to helping others learn about the amazing work that Kurn Hattin does every day.”
