Kurn Hattin To Host 20th Annual Choral Invitational

February 21, 2012 |  Westminster, Vermont – On Wednesday, March 21st at 7:00 pm, students from six local schools will participate in Kurn Hattin Homes’ 20th Annual Choral Invitational.

The event will be held in the Higbie Auditorium in the Mayo Memorial Center. The schools participating are: Bellows Falls Middle School, Walpole Middle School, St. Joseph School, Leland & Gray Middle School, Leland & Gray A Capella Group, and Kurn Hattin School. The choral groups will perform a wide variety of songs and will conclude with all schools and the audience singing a song together. Master of Ceremonies is Tom Fahner, Deputy Director at the Homes. Admission to the performance is free with canned goods being collected by the student council for donation to the food shelf at Our Place, in Bellows Falls. Please help us celebrate ‘Music in Our Schools Month’. For more information, please contact Lisa Bianconi at (802) 732-6931. Mark your calendars, on Wednesday, April 7, Kurn Hattin will also be hosting the Kurn Hattin Jazz Band Invitational at 7 p.m.

Kurn Hattin Homes is a year-round, charitable home and school for in-need and at-risk boys and girls, ages 6-15, from throughout the northeast.
