Kurn Hattin General Information
- Since 1894, Kurn Hattin Homes for Children has helped thousands of children and their families by offering a safe home and quality education in a nurturing environment. Our mission: Kurn Hattin transforms the lives of children and their families forever.
- Kurn Hattin is a year-round, charitable, residential and day program, home and school serving children, ages 5-15, from throughout the Northeast.
- The application process helps us determine whether Kurn Hattin’s programs can meet a child’s needs. The Admissions Office will assist a family in gathering the necessary paperwork. Applications are accepted throughout the year and students are admitted as openings occur. No family is turned away for financial reasons. Kurn Hattin Homes is a philanthropic organization and serves children in need regardless of their families’ ability to pay tuition.
- Kurn Hattin Homes’ primary funding source is charitable donations. It is the oldest childcare institution in the Northeast to be continuously funded primarily by philanthropic support.
